Vessel of Expression.
More than anything, this is a vessel of expression. A medium for me to create and curate Art in the form of clothing and content. Everything here is inspired by the world around and everything in it.
I have always loved the Arts. I loved music, dancing, cinematography, photography, and as I grew older, fashion. I found sanctuary in the Arts. They were my mediums of expression. Art is more than just emotionally invoking, it was a way of seeing and being.
The brand is also a memento to me through the curation, artistic expression and creation that tells a story of the journey and more.
During the process, mistakes and failures are part of the journey and it is the only way one gets better at their craft. Embrace the journey and everything in it. This is the path of creation.
At the end of the day, let us not be too serious with it, for life is ultimately play and when you stop adding the element of playfulness in anything, the state of flow cannot be achieved.
Yours truly,
CCV

“Making a successful luxury brand in nine years is genius. It’s a feat that I admire and hope to continue building upon with a rich legacy. He revolutionised streetwear and luxury that crosses generations and decades. He showed the world that the underrepresented, the underdogs and Black people, in particular, have brilliant minds and can push and compete equally in the establishment. He inspired hope and brought about change.” - Ibrahim Kamara, Art&Image Director Off-White™
